Spl Tpc: Brdbnd Const Locating Prerequisite: instructor's consent required. This course provides foundational safety training for broadband construction activities, including trenching, cable plowing, and fiber installation. Students learn industry-standard safety practices, hazard recognition, and damage prevention techniques. The course also introduces fiber and utility locating methods, with hands-on training using professional-grade fiber locator equipment. Prepares students for utility damage prevention and underground locating credentials aligned with 811 and Common Ground Alliance best practices.
