EMS Case Studies Prerequisite: program director's consent.This course provides an opportunity to study and manage trauma and medical emergencies from a case study perspective. Trauma topics include shock; head, spinal, thoracic, and abdominal trauma; burns; and environmental emergencies. Medical topics include respiratory, cardiac, and neurologic emergencies; endocrinology, hematology, infectious diseases, and anaphylaxis. | |||||||
