Eagle Online 04: Developing An Online Course This course helps faculty develop the early structure and student-facing materials for an online or blended course in Eagle Online (Canvas LMS). Using a completed course map as a guide, participants build a Welcome Module and the first two instructional modules in Canvas with accessible pages, transparent assignment instructions, clear assessment criteria, and student-centered module structures. Participants also prepare communications for the start of the course, plan for regular and substantive interaction (RSI), complete course quality checks, and identify strategies for evaluating and improving the course after students begin. The course culminates in a final rationale presentation that documents what participants built, explains the design choices behind those decisions, and prepares them for course review, launch, cyclical review, or future course improvement. | |||||||
