Eagle Online 03: Designing an Online Course This course helps faculty transform or refine course ideas, existing materials, and prior planning work into a complete, student-centered course map for an online or blended course. Participants use backward-design strategies, accessibility principles, and outcome alignment practices to make intentional decisions about course purpose, learner needs, outcomes, assessments, learning activities, and module structure. Emphasis is placed on creating a clear and purposeful course design that supports student navigation, engagement, and success. Participants document key design decisions, test or prototype one module-level design approach, and submit a final course map that can guide future course development, review, and continuous improvement. | |||||||
