Eagle Online 01: Planning an Online Course Prerequisite: instructor's consent. This course introduces faculty to the foundational principles of designing purposeful and well-organized online or blended courses. Participants analyze learner characteristics, interpret established course outcomes, and use backward-design strategies to align module objectives, activities, and assessments. Emphasis is placed on accessibility, clarity, and design strategies that keep learners and learning outcomes at the center. Faculty engage with the course from a student perspective to evaluate the online learning experience and apply those insights to their own courses in Eagle Online (Canvas LMS). | |||||||
