The course is framed in the context of social psychology----the scientific study of how we feel about, think about, and behave toward the people around us, and how our feelings, thoughts and behaviors are influenced by those people. Through critical discourse and art exploration, students will examine concepts such as social identity, social constructionism, power dynamics, and how we respond to others via prosocial/antisocial behaviors. Honors I: Expl Psych in Art Prerequisite: acceptance into the Honors Program.This course involves critical analysis of major themes of the Social Sciences-A (Anthropology, Psychology, Sociology) coordinated and examined through the fine arts.
